We guarantee you will love Sarah Oliver Handbags. Every one of our bags are made with the greatest of care, hand knit by The Purlettes’ +1 and finished at our studio in Sausalito, CA. Because each bag is hand made, variances of size and color are part of the unique story of your bag. However, if you are unsatisfied you may return the item for an exchange or refund within 30 days of receiving the order. If we do not have your requested exchange item on hand, we may issue a refund or credit for your returned merchandise instead. We will make every effort to fulfill exchange requests whenever possible.

Defective or Damaged items

If any items in your order arrived damaged, please take a photo and email us immediately at You must include a photo of the box and product(s), your Order number, and the best number for us to call you back.  We will refund or replace the item as soon as possible.

Return Instructions

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Sarah Oliver Handbags 461 Coloma Street, Suite B

Sausalito, CA 94965 along with the order number or packing slip. You may contact us if you need help locating this number. Customer is responsible for all shipping cost if seller is not at fault.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at
